Smart Meters

Recently, Simon has been helping our technology design client to introduce their ‘smart’ digital meter product concept into large scale manufacture. CEMs (Contract Electronic Manufacturers) are usually expert in their field of component procurement, PCB assembly and box-building.

However, when a fledgling product ramps up in production volumes there are usually technical hurdles to overcome. Many times, the CEM is not best placed to solve these as an in-depth understanding of the design is required – but the design owners are not always best placed either as an understanding of electronic manufacturing processes is also required.

This is where Pebble Technologies has stepped in, supporting both their client and the CEM to ensure a trouble free product introduction to the market.
